Stelios Piperidis is a Senior Researcher and Head of the Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Extraction Department at the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) of the “Athena” Research Centre.  He is Director/National Scientific Coordinator of the CLARIN EL Research Infrastructure. He has served as President of the European Language Resources Association (ELRA), member of the META-NET Executive Board and coordinator of the META-SHARE language resources sharing infrastructure.
